Dress for a tea party in the garden

1900 - 1915 Germany.

White linobatis (a sort of white thin cambric linen). The bodice has a square cutout with a hook-and-eye closure on the side. Exquisite hand and machine embroidery, drawing of a lily of the valley branch. Worn with a cambric case. On the belt is a sash with a metal buckle tied with gold metal thread. On the head is a rye-coloured straw hat adorned with a royal rose.
